Secure communications for a safer workforce and community
Tait staff are experts at delivering encryption solutions because we understand the importance of secure communications in improving the safety of first responders. Industry-demanded FIPS 140-2 certified encryption can be delivered to radios by fast in-field by the Key Fill Device or with Over-the-Air Rekeying (OTAR) via the Key Management Facility to bring total security and operational flexibility, so only the right people take the right calls.

Tait public safety solutions offer core safety features including programmable emergency settings such as Lone Worker, Man Down, covert/overt alarms and false power down. Built-in GPS intelligence enables Tait P25 radios to be used for managing fleets of vehicles and tracking personnel. Tait GPS display can show latitude and longitude coordinates on a mobile screen, ideal for off-road or incident location.
Tait systems are designed to deliver optimum coverage to on-hip portables so communications can be called upon in critical situations that develop away from the patrol vehicle. The radios themselves are designed with dual-shot molding (built-in shock absorption) and a unique and patented battery clasp mechanism eliminates any threat of the battery dislodging when the radio is dropped during a foot chase.
